What is the difference between Microblading, Nano Brows and Powder Brows?
I do not offer Microblading. This is a technique that uses a small blade to etch hair-like strokes into the skin. Machine Hair Strokes AKA Nano Brows create a similar illusion but is a much less invasive treatment. On the other hand, Ombré or Powder Brows are meant to mimic a soft, natural makeup look by depositing pigment with a machine that gently shades the surface of the skin, pixel by pixel. Powder and Nano Brows are great for most if not all skin-types including oily or mature.

Is PMU a real tattoo? How long does it last?
Microblading, Powder/Ombré Brows, Lip Blush and Nano Brows are ALL a form of tattoo. The only difference if the method of implantation. Most permanent makeup pigments are purposefully designed/formulated as such. The reason why we call our service ‘Permanent Makeup’ instead of ‘Semi-Permanent Makeup’ is because, no matter how much the color fades, there will almost always be trace amounts of ink left within the skin. The pigment may exfoliate (fade) over time so annual or biannual touchups may be suggested to maintain shape and color. Your brows and lips are meant to last between 1-3 years+ depending on your skin genetics, lifestyle and other environmental factors.

What pigment line do you use?
I use many industry standard pigment lines including but not limited to: Hanafy, Permablend and variations there of. Many of these pigments share ingredients such as glycerin, witch hazel, aqua, rosin, benzyl alcohol, and isopropyl alcohol. These pigments have a high-retention of 80-100%. Colors are specifically chosen and mixed according to each individual.

How to take care of my BROWS post-appointment?
Your skin is vulnerable to what you put on your face, so please wash your hands before treating the area. You are expected to wash your brows morning and night for 10 days. I will provide you with a cleanser and healing balm for optimal results. Itching, flaking and scabbing is normal. DO NOT pick, peel or scratch the area as this may result in uneven healing, scarring and/or infection. No makeup (specifically eyeshadow/foundation) is to be worn for up to one week as products can migrate and irritate/infect the brows. Do not expose your healing skin to direct sun, tanning beds, saunas, salt water, chlorinated pools, direct shower spray, skin creams/serums, sunscreen or anything else you’ve been instructed not to use for 10 days. Lastly, do not do any heavy workouts for up to one week; sweat will ash out the color. If you plan on vacationing to a tropical destination, please try to schedule your appointment, two weeks before or after.

How to take care of my LIPS post-appointment?
Your skin is vulnerable to what you put on your face, so please wash your hands before treating the area. You do not need to cleanse the lips however, please use the sterile water wipes in your aftercare bag to gently wipe/clean the lips for the first 48 hours. I will also provide a specified balm to moisturize the lips. Please do not use your own chapsticks, gloss or lipsticks for one week. Do not apply SPF for one week. Avoid any special activity with your lips for 72 hours. Do not be alarmed as your lips may swell up to 48-hours. It is most comfortable to drink from a straw and avoid spicy/salty foods during that time. Try your best not to do any heavy workouts for one week and keep out of the direct sun and salt water! Most importantly, you may ‘shed’ skin during the healing process so DO NOT peel or pick your lip blush!
